Council Scorer publishes comparative performance scores for Australian local government areas derived from data published by state and federal government bodies. Scores are our own analysis and are general information only — not financial, legal, property or relocation advice.

We take care to reflect source data faithfully but do not warrant that the site is complete, current or error-free. Source datasets are published on different cycles and may be revised; tell us via the contact page if you believe a figure is wrong.

Acceptable use: do not scrape or republish the site's data at scale without written permission, do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site, and do not submit unlawful or abusive content through our forms.

Underlying government datasets remain the property of their publishers and are used under open licence. Our methodology, commentary, design and presentation are owned by Council Scorer; short extracts and individual scores may be quoted with attribution and a link.

The site may carry advertising, sponsored placements and affiliate links, always visually separated from performance data. We never accept payment to change, suppress or reorder a score. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the site; nothing excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
