Council Scorer is an independent Australian website publishing performance scores for local government areas using publicly available government data. You can contact us at hello@councilscorer.com or through our contact page.

Information we collect: details you give us through the contact, feedback, advertising enquiry and email-notification forms (name, email, message); usage information such as pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, device and browser; and standard server logs including IP address for security and abuse prevention. We never sell your personal information.

Cookies: essential cookies keep the site working (for example your comparison tray); analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4 measure page views and sessions in aggregate. Council Scorer does not run a third-party ad network and sets no advertising cookies.

We use your information to reply to enquiries, send email updates you explicitly requested (every email has an unsubscribe link), measure and improve the site, and prevent abuse. Form submissions are stored in a managed Postgres database that may process data outside Australia.
